"I wanted to let you and your staff know how pleased I am with your dental practice. Your staff are so friendly – even if they’re very busy they always have a smile on their face. I would also like to tell you that I was very satisfied with the quality of care I received. I will always refer others to you practice.

"The treatment was so amazing….worth traveling 100 miles! I’m awed! The process was much less intimidating than I thought and you were so considerate of my needs. But most gratifying was the skill and technology….this is not dentistry, it is truly dental arts".

GENERAL DENTISTRY
Gum Treatment
Depending on the progression of gum disease, the dentist will apply non-surgical periodontal treatments, such as scaling and root planing. These procedures clean the tooth and root surfaces to remove plaque and tartar, and smooth the tooth root to remove bacterial toxins. The dentist may also flush the periodontal pockets with antibiotics or prescribe oral medications or a special anti-germ mouth rinse
Extractions
In some cases, teeth may need to be completely removed or extracted. Reasons for extractions include severe decay, advanced periodontal disease, broken or fractured teeth that can not be repaired, impacted wisdom teeth, or overcrowding of teeth.
Children Dentistry
Pediatric dentists are specialists dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years. They are able to recognize the need for early treatment of bite or tooth alignment problems that may arise as a child grows. Pediatric dentists are also experienced in communication, behavior modification and other techniques used to establish trust and to help children accept dental treatment.
Professional Cleaning
Professional cleaning consists mainly of removing hard deposits using a scaler (a scraping instrument) or an ultrasonic machine, which uses high-frequency sound waves to loosen plaque deposits. The particles are then rinsed off with water. After cleaning, the teeth are polished. The process cleans and smoothes the surfaces of the teeth, removing stains and making it harder for plaque to stick to the teeth.
Professional Breath Control
Regular dental cleaning and examination enable your dental team to help you maintain long-lasting fresh breath.
In addition to regular brushing and flossing, incorporating tongue scraping and using an alcohol-free mouth brush helps maintain a fresh breath.
Digital X-rays
Digital X-ray contains ninety percent less radiation compared to regular X-rays. Our office uses the latest digital x-ray equipment that doesn't use film or chemicals for development.
Instead of films, a sensor is placed in the patient's mouth. The sensor is smaller than the holder for conventional x-ray film. After exposure, the images appear on a computer screen in just seconds. Digital pictures are more clear than conventional x-rays film.
Instead of holding up small films that are hard to see, Dr. Joseph Azizi and the patient can look at the images on a computer screen together. The images taken can be enhanced and enlarged many times their actual size
